Hello Grant Writer,
Our Board of Directors invites you to write grant proposals for the Fellowship of Humanity. Our only stipulation is that the grants must come with no strings attached.
Basic information about the Fellowship of Humanity may be needed in a grant proposal. Here are a few facts. The Fellowship of Humanity became incorporated under the laws of the State of California on January 28th, 1935, by filing its Articles of Incorporation with California's Secretary of State. It is a nonprofit religious corporation. Our California Corporation number is:
0161298
And our Tax ID number is:
942-940773
Because we are a humanist church
– a California non-profit religious corporation
– grants, gifts and donations to the Fellowship of Humanity are tax deductible. Nevertheless, people should consult their tax advisors as to whether a
particular receipt from the Fellowship of Humanity is eligible for a tax
deduction.
If a grant proposal that you write wins the approval of a grantor who then awards the Fellowship of Humanity money on the basis of your proposal, you shall receive half that money as your compensation
for obtaining the grant. Seeking out a suitable grantor and writing a successful proposal is not an easy job!
Our Board of Directors appreciates the good work that people do on behalf of others
and rewards these efforts as much as possible.
Again, it must be emphasized that any grant for the Fellowship of Humanity must be freely given by the grantor
– it cannot be
used to bribe, curtail, or lobby the Fellowship of Humanity or its Board of Directors for any
reason whatsoever.
Thanks ever so much for your interest in pursuing a grant for the Fellowship!
I do hope you succeed in landing a grant for
the Fellowship of Humanity!
Sincere as Ever,
Florence Windfall
President of the Fellowship of Humanity
